• Hourly spot price forecast and power balance, which our analysts forecast up to three weeks ahead. The model is updated from information given through the latest weather forecasts and production plant availability

• Day-ahead hourly price forecast updated every morning

• Power consumption forecast. Taking into account the full German power balance, the model forecast consumption on an hourly basis

• Hourly CHP production forecast.

• Wind and solar power models built in-house and forecasted on an hourly basis. We leverage own models based on in-house meteorological data

• Run-of-river and lake reservoirs production estimates in Austria and Germany. Our own calculations made on discharge levels and water value projections

• Conventional thermal power plants production and availability, including conventional lignite and hard coal power plants, CCGT power plants, gas turbines, fuel oil, gas oil and nuclear power plants

• Cross border import and export capacities and cross border flow projections on an hourly basis

• Balance and price forecast available as an ftp file or downloadable directly from Nena’s web portal
