Fundamental power analyses data

Nena operates extensive databases with fundamental data from all the power analyses made available online and via Nena’s ftp-server for download. The data series are updated on a daily basis, with history for some of the series dating back to the early 1990s.

The data series are listed per market/country and categorized as follows:

• Price forecast

• Balance divided in consumption, production and net exchange

• Short run marginal costs

• Substitution indices

• Profit margins

• Hydrology including precipitation energy, inflow, snow, groundwater and soil moisture and hydropower resource

• Urgent Market Messages

• Weather indices including forecasts for solar and wind

Certain special data or longer historical time-series are available on request. The content accessible via FTP server and consists of in-house produced data and indices.
