(Montel) StormGeo has hired Vegard Svarstad and Simen Valåmo as Nordic and German power analysts in a move aimed at strengthening Nena Analysis team, it told Montel.
Svarstad, a former power trader at Hafslund Hedging, will start today, while Valåmo, a former analyst at aluminium firm Alcoa, will begin on 1 March, said Jostein Mælan, vice president of renewables at StormGeo.
The two analysts replace Joachim Jernæs, who joined Uniper at the start of the year, and Christian Sjødin, who left in November last year to work for Fred Olsen Green Power.
